TMS Group inaugurated clean water wells for residents of Đăk Trang and Đăk Hlăh Tơ Drăh villages, Mang Yang District – Gia Lai Province on September 28th and 29th.
Đăk Trang and Đăk Hlăh Tơ Drăh have over 2,000 residents, most of whom are ethnic minority people living in arid mountains under conditions of severe scarcity of clean water. Villagers mentioned that dry season is the most extreme period because households have to use cans and plastic bottles to get water very far away from home.
Due to difficulties in traffic, over 80% of the households use water drops or even water available in streams and canals. Water shortages have bad impacts on local people’s life and cause poverty and diseases.
